The past 12 July the European Union published the regulation that regulates the artificial intelligence that contemplates his possible risks with the end to improve the operation of the inner market and promote the adoption and diffusion of the IA reliable. 
The aim is to guarantee the protection of the health, the security, the State of Right, the democracy and the protection of the environment, as well as face up to the hurtful effects of the systems of IA.

Said Regulation will apply in all the States members from 2 August 2026, although some of his chapters will go in already in force the next year and others in the 2027.

Which influence has in the labour field? 
The Regulation has by object reinforce the efficiency of the rights and roads of valid resources by means of the establishment of requirements and specific obligations, without forgetting appearances the transparency, the technical documentation and the conservation of registers of the systems of IA.
The Regulation aims remarks that the systems of IA could give place to a hurtful deal or desfavorable of determinate physical people or whole communities, by what will have to forbid the introduction in the market, the put in service and the use of systems of IA destined to be used to detect the emotional state of the people in situations related with the place of work and the educational field. All this excepting the cases of application of said systems with medical ends or of security, like the destined systems to a therapeutic use.
On the other hand, the systems of IA in the labour field can perpetuate historical patterns of discrimination: against the women, determinate groups of age, people with disability, with racial or ethnic origins concrete or with a determinate sexual orientation, during all the process of contracting and in the evaluation, promotion or retention of people in the contractual relations of labour type. The systems of IA employed to control the performance and the behaviour of these people also can undermine his fundamental rights to the protection of the personal data and to the privacy.

Which are the systems of IA of tall risk?
- Systems of IA used for the contracting or the selection of physical people. Especially to the hour to publish ads of specific use, analyse and filter the applications of use and evaluate to the candidates.
-  Those systems of IA that use to take decisions that affect to the conditions of the relations of labour type or to the promotion or rescission of contractual relations, as well as for the assignment of tasks from individual behaviours or personal characteristics or to supervise and evaluate the performance and the behaviour of the people.
- They will be absolutely forbidden the systems of Artificial Intelligence used to detect the emotional state of the people in situations related with the place of work and the educational field.
